Going round the Paektusan Museum, the Samjiyon County Hall of Culture, the Samjiyon County People's Hospital, hotels and others under construction, he gave a pep talk to builders who are making positive efforts to complete the construction projects prioritized by the Party within the period set by the Party.

The consultative meeting called on relevant units to preferentially supply materials necessary for the remodeling of Samjiyon County and minutely organize and command the transport.

Earlier, he learned about the preservation of historic relics at Chairman Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp and its management, and acquainted himself with the potato farming at the Junghung Farm and stressed the need to take measures for supplying farm machines and overhauling them.
