Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, guided the test firing of newly-developed large-caliber controlled multiple launch rocket system on July the 31st.

He was accompanied by Jo Yong Won, Ri Pyong Chol, Yu Jin, Kim Jong Sik and Pak Jong Chon.

He was briefed on the controlled multiple launch rocket system and familiarized himself in detail with its development.

The test firing was carried out in his presence.

The test firing scientifically confirmed that the tactical data and technical specifications of the newly-developed large-caliber controlled ordnance rocket of new-type have reached the design value and proved the effectiveness for combat application of the overall weapons system.

Seeing the result of the test firing of the new-type large-caliber controlled multiple launch rocket system, comrade Kim Jong Un said:

It is really great. The result of our test today will be a great distress difficult to shake off for the forces that bring upon themselves the things to be targeted by the weapon.

He expressed his satisfaction over the result of test firing time and again and highly appreciated the merits of the national defence science sector and munitions workers that have manufactured another nice multiple launch rocket system of the Korean style which is of great strategic significance in remarkably strengthening the combat efficiency of the People's Army.
