The Pyongyang International Sci-Tech Exhibition of Health and Medical Appliances opened with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex on Monday.

On display there are functional health goods, medicines, appliances for diagnosis, treatment and prevention, and diverse sanitary goods presented by more than 100 units of the DPRK, China, Russia and other countries.

During the exhibition a symposium on medical technology will be held, intellectual products distributed and exhibits sold.

Present at the opening-ceremony were Choe Jong Ho, president of the Sci-Tech Complex, Kim Jong Su, vice-chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, Kim Hyong Hun, vice-minister of Public Health, officials concerned, foreign delegations, diplomatic envoys and members of foreign missions here.

The exhibition will last till June 21.
