KCU Members Celebrate Its Founding Anniversary

 

The members of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) across the country significantly celebrated its 73rd founding anniversary.

They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in various parts of the country and paid tribute to them.

Provincial, city and county joint meetings of KCU organizations took place on the occasion of its 73rd founding anniversary.

KCU members vowed to be true sons and daughters of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and ardent young revolutionaries, who are knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy and always ready for the socialist country.

The National Symphony Orchestra gave a concert at the Moranbong Theatre in Pyongyang.

Art performances were given by schoolchildren in various places of the country including Hamhung Square, Kaesong Schoolchildren's Palace and Songdowon Youth Open-Air Theatre.

Sports and amusement games of KCU members took place at schools for orphans, junior middle schools and primary schools of the country including Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans, Pyongyang Middle School for Orphans, Songyo Junior Middle School in Songyo District and Chongryu Primary School in Taedonggang District.

Laughter of joy and optimism of schoolchildren broke out at the Central Zoo, Kaeson Youth Park and other recreation grounds that day.
