Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, member of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex and the Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant and acquainted himself with the farm work in Pyoksong, Kangryong and Ongjin counties.

Making rounds of production processes of the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex and the Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant, Kim Jae Ryong stressed the need to give priority to the scientific calculation in the management and control for maximum profitability and intensify the socialist system of responsible business operation and the system of reviewing daily production and finance.

On the Okjong Coop Farm in Pyoksong County, the Naedong Coop Farm in Kangryong County and the Sonphung Coop Farm in Ongjin County he gave a pep-talk to the farmers and helpers in the campaign for overcoming the drought damage with all forces and means and finishing the transplantation of rice seedlings at the right time.
