On July 19, a delegation of junior athletes was seen off at Sunan Airport, which went to Vladivostok to participate in the First International Youth Student Games. Competitions within the framework of this tournament, organized on the initiative of the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Kozhemyako, will be held from July 22 to 26 at the central sports grounds of the Far Eastern capital. In total, medals will be awarded in 12 sports among participants from 6 countries. The DPRK team at these competitions is represented by 15 students from Kim Il Sung University. They will compete in disciplines such as badminton, table tennis, swimming and athletics. The participation of athletes from the DPRK in the Games is a clear example of the successful implementation of plans for bilateral humanitarian cooperation. We are confident that youth exchanges play an important role in establishing friendly interaction between the peoples of our countries. | |
