Oath-taking meetings of South Phyongan, North and South Hamgyong and Ryanggang provinces and Rason City took place on Sunday to respond to the appeal of the working people in Kangwon Province for bringing about a great surge at all work sites of the socialist construction under the uplifted banner of self-reliance, the treasured sword for prosperity.

Attending those meetings were officials of party and power organs, working people's organizations, institutions, industrial establishments, farms and universities and working people, youth and students in relevant areas.

The appeal was read out at the meetings to be followed by speeches.

Speakers expressed full support to the appeal made by the working people in Kangwon Province who are taking the lead in implementing the great leaders' instructions and upholding the Party's policies, adding they ardently respond to the appeal.

They said that all the officials and working people have turned out as one in the all-people death-defying campaign true to the historic policy speech made by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un at the First Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly and the spirit of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

They called for bringing about new miraculous victories one after another at all work sites of socialist construction under the uplifted banner of self-reliance, the treasured sword for prosperity, firmly united around the Supreme Leader.

Then there took place mass demonstrations.
