18:03 Dangerous Places He Visited before Anybody Else
Recently record heavy rain lashed the northern border area of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, causing damage. Immediately after the occurrence of the crisis, thousands of people in the flooded areas were rescued by service personnel of the People's Army. The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un commanded this rescue operation on the spot. He hurriedly came to an air base, the venue of rescue operation, despite the flooding road, for fear that the local people left homeless might suffer greater pain if he was late even a moment. He stayed at the air base for a long time, exposing himself to rain until the people in the dangerous flooded areas were safely evacuated to the last. Then, he went aboard a rubber boat to look round the flooded areas where any danger might be created since many buildings and structures were inundated with water.
Generally, natural disaster is considered to be unavoidable. Feeling painful for the people's suffering, however, Kim Jong Un went to the dangerous places with water flowing in rapids before the families and relatives of the flood victims. In the city of Rason at the end of the country, we can hear a story about him who had called at the site of damage rehabilitation by air, by ship and by car running on a pass. And in North Hwanghae Province we can also hear a story about his devotion that he drove his car on the rough muddy road. He called on people in a mining city along the railways between gorges where temporary piers had been built by crib because two piers had been washed out due to flood. When he visited the dangerous site of damage rehabilitation, he went into a waist-deep tideland-turned rice field and stroked rice plants under water with great pain in his heart. Like this, he regards all people on this land as his blood and flesh and calls on the people in the affected areas before anybody else, showing his love and affection to them. Thanks to him, the Korean people are living without any misfortune and suffering whatever disaster they may face. It is the creed of Kim Jong Un that he should find himself among those people with a lot of troubles and difficulties, rather than among those who are over the moon without any worry.
