Condolences to Sri Lankan President

Choe Ryong Hae, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a consolatory message to Maithripala Sirisena, president of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, on Monday over many casualties caused by terrorist attacks in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Offering deep sympathy and condolences to the president and victims and their bereaved families, the message said it is the consistent principled stand of the government of the DPRK to oppose all forms of terrorism.

It hoped the president and government of Sri Lanka would do away with the aftermath of the incident as early as possible and maintain social stability.
