Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, inspected the construction site of the project for establishing the C1 chemical industry.

Walking round the construction site, he discussed with officials such issues as dynamically conducting the on-site political work to give full play to the revolutionary enthusiasm of builders and making detailed plans for the construction and providing meticulous guidance to it.

He called upon scientists and technicians to rationally arrange production processes on the basis of scientific calculations, and upon construction directors to enhance their sense of responsibility and role for high quality of construction.

Meanwhile, he inspected the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory and the Aeguk Compound Microorganisms Fertilizer Factory in Sunchon City.
