Meetings, photo and book exhibitions and film shows took place in Russia on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Eternal Chairman Kim Jong Il's visit to the Russian Federation and the 10th anniversary of his visit to its Siberia and Far Eastern Region.

Displayed at the exhibition halls were photos dealing with the exploits performed by the Chairman for promoting the DPRK-Russia friendship.

Also on display were works of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, and other DPRK books and photos showing the development of socialist Korea.

Korean films documenting the Chairman's Russia visits were shown at the film shows.

The events were attended by personages of the political parties, organizations and institutions, including the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee and the Amur Regional Branch Committee and the Vladivostok City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in the Far Eastern Region of Russia, the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation and the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Russian Women's Union, and the masses, the DPRK consul general and consuls in Vladivostok.

Speeches were made at the events.

Meanwhile, photo shows were hosted by the website Patrioti Moskva, the website of Khabarovsk Territory Khabinfo and others and a meeting was held by the DPRK International Solidarity Group on the occasion of the above-said anniversaries.
