Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, inspected different units in Sunchon City.

At the Sunchon phosphate fertilizer factory under construction, Pak Pong Ju encouraged technicians and workers in their efforts to put the fertilizer industry on a Juche basis.

Discussed at the consultative meeting were the issues to be tackled in stepping up the construction.

At the Sunchon Cement Complex, he stressed the need to hasten the remodeling of a kiln and to unconditionally implement the tasks set forth by the Party by boosting cooperation with relevant units for the supply of materials, power, etc.

At the Sunchon Heat Insulating Materials Factory, he stressed the importance and significance of the production of heat insulating materials and discussed the issues of increasing the production capacity.
