Sergey Baburin, Chairman of the Board of the Soviet Peace Foundation (SPF) and Member of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), signed a collective statement of participants in Peace Day in China on solidarity with the people of Lebanon and condemnation of Israeli aggression.

Representatives of peacekeeping organizations and forces from many countries of the world gathered at the initiative of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament in Shandong Province, PRC, to participate in the celebration of International Peace Day.
Meeting participants:
- striving to develop traditional universal values and promote the construction of a community of shared destiny for mankind;
- advocating for cooperation on the principles of equality and resolution of differences based on mutual respect;
- defending the principles of peaceful coexistence,
we strongly condemn Israel's new attack on Lebanon, the start of the war against Lebanon by Israel and its armed invasion of Lebanese territory, carried out on September 19, 2024, precisely at the beginning of the celebration of the International Day of Peace.
We demand an immediate end to the war on the land of Lebanon, Syria and Palestine!
We appeal to the UN Security Council to take all necessary measures to stop Israel's aggression and liberate the occupied territories by Israel!
Peace to the Middle East!
