From July 21 to 26, the Far Eastern Federal University hosted the 1st International Youth Student Summer Games "Youth on the Maritime Territory", in which athletes from North Korea took part. This event was not only an important step towards rapprochement between our countries, but also marked the beginning of the activities of the primary cell of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG) in Vladivostok, historically the center of cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

Alexandra Mikhailova, Regional Secretary of the Russian Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG in the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation, provided all possible assistance in organizing and holding the events.

On behalf of Chairman A. Mostov and Deputy V. Petrov, Comrade A. Mikhailova handed over a welcome letter to Park Chol Un, Director of the Sports Education Department of the DPRK Ministry of Education.

DPRK players returned home by train on Thursday after taking part in the First International Summer Sports Contest of University Students, "Youth on the Maritime Territory", held in Vladivostok of Russia.
