On February 15, Andrey Shin, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Korean War, Member of the Coordination Committee and Director of the 3rd Information and Analytical Department of the DPRK ISG, by order of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Republic, was awarded the Order of the National Flag (3rd Class).

The award ceremony was conducted by Shin Hong Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to Russia.

The award certificate states that the order to award No. 937 was given on March 30, Juche 111 (2022).

Also present at the reception from the Russian side were comrades Alexander Fomin (Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation), Alexander Kozlov (Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation) and Ivan Zhelokhovtsev (Director of the First Department of Asia of the Russian Foreign Ministry).

Alexander Mostov, Leader of our organization, personally congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Shin on his well-deserved award and expressed pride in his achievements. He said that Comrade Shin made a huge contribution to the development of Russian-Korean relations, personally supervised the search for veterans of the Korean War, and devoted the last years of his life to the war against the pro-US neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine and organized a humanitarian mission in the liberated regions. To have such a worthy person in the leadership is a great honor and glory for the International Solidarity Group.
