— Third Day of the 2nd International Congress of Solidarity —

Every year the authority of our organization, which makes active efforts to unite the movement of international solidarity, grows stronger.

On July 17, the final stage of negotiations between Viktor Petrov (Chairman of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK) and Darya Kadkina (Head of the Executive Committee of the Russian Group of Solidarity with the DPRK) took place, during which the parties came to the conclusion that it was necessary to unite organizations on an equal basis.

Thus, the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation filed an official application for membership in the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG).

In order to strengthen the unanimity and cohesion of the Russian movement of solidarity with the DPRK, to ensure a reliable guarantee of the continuity of generations, the leadership of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK and the Russian Group of Solidarity with the DPRK propose the following steps for consideration by the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG:

1. Unite the Friendship Society and the Russian Group of Solidarity with the DPRK.
2. Approve the entry of the Friendship Society into the DPRK International Solidarity Group as the official permanent representation in Russia.
3. Create an official web page of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation, reflecting its history and current activities.

We are convinced that the development of our relations will contribute to the further development and strengthening of the traditional friendship between the peoples of Russia and the Korean people.
