According to the South Korean publication Oh My News, on October 6, representatives of an organization advocating the repeal of the anti-popular "National Security Act" held a press conference and a protest march in Busan.

During the press conference, one of the demonstrators noted:

- You cannot talk about democracy without repealing the "National Security Act". The repeal of the "National Security Act" is the most urgent task of our time, which the National Assembly must support.

Also, the rally participants noted that the authorities are obliged to hear the voice of public opinion.

After the press conference, the participants of the march walked 5 km under the slogan "Let's throw the 'National Security Act' into the dustbin of history!"
