The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) has confidently led the revolutionary cause of Juche along the straight road to victory, regarding it as its peculiar mode of existence to make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people. It presented many slogans intensively showing the people-first idea in the new century of the Juche era, too.

The slogan "Let us do good things more for the people!" was made public on the morning of New Year's Day of Juche 101(2012), the year marking the centenary birthday of the Great Leader Kim Il Sung. It represents the political idea of the WPK which finds its greatest pride and honour on the road for the people respected by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as the God.

The respected Kim Jong Un advanced the slogan "Everything for the people and everything by relying on them!" in his New Year Address for 2013. The slogan serves as an important guideline to be followed by all the officials as their motto in fully preparing themselves as true servants who make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people to the end, regarding the people's trust and expectation as their lifeline.

In the significant year greeting the 70th anniversaries of national liberation and party founding, the WPK set forth the revolutionary slogans "Focus the major effort in Party work on improving the people's standard of living!", "Let us make the principle of holding the masses dearest run through Party work as a whole!" and "Let us make the climate of respecting, loving and relying on the people prevail across the Party!".

Slogans were advanced in the grandiose struggle toward the Seventh Congress of the WPK, including "Let us believe in and respect the people as the God!" and "Regard the people's trust as the most precious wealth!".

At the Eighth Congress of the WPK, Comrade Kim Jong Un stressed the need for the whole Party to hold higher the ideals of "The people are God", "single-hearted unity" and "self-reliance".

The slogans including "Let us vigorously fight on for our great state and for our great people!" reflect the noble political idea of the WPK. They are a manifestation of the firm determination and will of the Party to hasten a new victory of revolution with the politics based on the people-first principle.
