The statement made on February 26th, 109 (2020)

At the moment, in the People's Republic of China, an acute struggle continues with a new type of coronavirus. To this day, more than 1000 people have already died from a new type of coronavirus. The DPRK International Solidarity Group mourns the dead patients and expresses its solidarity with the party and government of the PRC in the fight against a new type of coronavirus.

The working class and medical workers of the PRC, who have risen to fight against coronavirus despite the danger, are heroes in the eyes of our organization and the entire progressive world community. The DPRK International Solidarity Group expresses deep respect to them.

As the permanent representative of the DPRK International Solidarity Group in the PRC, I express my gratitude to the Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un for the moral and financial support provided to the fight against coronavirus.

We fully support the initiative measures of the DPRK State Emergency Anti-epidemic System, which has concentrated all its efforts on preventing the spread of the new coronavirus into the Republic.

It should be noted that anti-Chinese forces are actively using the theme of coronavirus in hostile propaganda. Having entered into a conspiracy with each other, they continue the struggle against the Chinese people by all available means. The DPRK International Solidarity Group and I personally, as the Group’s permanent representative in the PRC, strongly condemn the distributors of fake news and hostile statements!
