On March 13, the Military Training Center of Smolensk State University (SmolSU) organized a screening of a Korean documentary film about the heroic participation of soldiers of the Korean People's Army in the liberation of the Kursk region from Ukrainian neo‑Nazis. The event was timed to coincide with a significant date — the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Future officers — cadets of the Military Training Center — watched the film with great attention. The film vividly demonstrates the military brotherhood and high international duty of Korean soldiers who fought shoulder to shoulder with Russian warriors against a common enemy. The film evoked a lively response among the young defenders of the Fatherland.

After the screening, a lively discussion took place, during which the young cadets asked questions concerning military organisation, cultural traditions and everyday life in Korea. Representatives of our organisation gave comprehensive answers to all the questions raised.

The event concluded with the donation of scientific literature. The books, dedicated to the history, culture and contemporary development of the DPRK, will serve as an important aid in the patriotic education and training of future defenders of Russia.
