Deputy Director of the 3rd Information Department of the DPRK ISG issued a statement in connection with the aggressive actions of hostile forces.
"Recently, the puppet Republic of Korea, hiding behind the "nuclear shield" of the United States, have launched a series of serious provocations against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea with various acts, which is shameful. They accuse DPR Korea of cutting off roads and railways connecting Republic of Korea, sending surveillance drones to harass Pyongyang, forming a so-called "multinational joint monitoring team" to jointly monitor and enforce economic sanctions against DPR Korea, maliciously interpreting the independent cooperation between DPR Korea and some sovereign countries, and even dropping ridiculous anti-DPR Korean propaganda.
These actions seriously interfere in the internal affairs of the DPRK as a sovereign state, endanger the national security and economic livelihood of the DPRK, and have no meaning except to expand and prolong the world war situation.
The US imperialists and their minions have not only disturbed the situation in Europe and the Middle East, but now they are going to make mischief on the Korean Peninsula. They continue to make sabotage for their own profit and steal the happy life of the people of the world, hindering the development process of world multipolarity, and seriously jeopardizing the peace and stability of East Asia and the world at large.
No peace-loving sovereign State will tolerate such despicable behaviour, no era of respect for justice will tolerate such a disgrace to the world, and their provocations will eventually be reckoned with by history.
As Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, has stated, the DPRK will never allow the balance of power on the Korean Peninsula to be disrupted, and the DPRK will surely have the ability to contain hostile forces and control tensions at all times, while the US imperialists and their minions will surely pay a corresponding price for this.
