We had a chance to tour Kim Il Sung University.
Currently, the University has about 17,000 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students. There are 22 faculties, both humanitarian and technical. About two thousand students study Russian; they love our culture and language very much. They express themselves brilliantly on it.
The library contains scientific literature from all leading universities in the world, and it is especially valuable that the abundance of literature is available to students and teachers of the University in electronic form.
The university has developed various forms of leisure and extracurricular activities. A favorite place for students on hot days is the university swimming pool.
I had the opportunity to have a warm conversation with the secretary of the Youth Union Committee of Kim Il Sung University and convey greetings and a small gift from the Leningrad Komsomol members.
