Officials, Members of Women's Union Mark Anniversary of Demise of Great Leader Kim Il Sung

Officials and members of the women's union met at the Hall of Women on Tuesday to mark the 27th anniversary of the demise of Eternal President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, and officials of the women's union and its members in Pyongyang City.

The speakers praised the noble personality and virtue of the President.

They called upon the officials and members of the union to add eternal luster to the immortal feats of the President on behalf of the country and the revolution, the times and the people and uphold the idea and leadership of the Party Central Committee with loyalty.

Agricultural Workers' Meeting Commemorates Demise Anniversary of Great Leader Kim Il Sung

Agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) held a meeting in memory of Eternal President Kim Il Sung at the Chongsan Co-op Farm in Kangso District, Nampho City on Wednesday, a day before the 27th anniversary of his demise.

Speakers at the meeting told about the President's noble virtues.

Attending the meeting were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, officials concerned, officials of the union and agricultural workers in Kangso District.

The floor was taken by Ho Tok Bok, former chairwoman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the UAWK, Ri Yong Ju, management board chairman of the Rihyon Vegetable Cooperative Farm in Sadong District, and Yun Chun Hwa. chairwoman of the Chongsan Co-op Farm in Kangso District.

They told in excited tones about the noble career of Comrade Kim Il Sung characterized by his ceaseless journey to the countryside for agricultural development of the country and happy and wealthy life of agricultural workers.

They expressed their determination to add luster to the immortal revolutionary career and exploits of the President and bring about a bumper harvest in every field by waging an intensive campaign for scientific farming and rich harvest, emulating the working spirit of the patriotic farmers of the preceding generations.

The meeting ended with reciting of poem "My field is near a road to Pyongyang".

Workers and Members of GFTUK Meet to Praise Virtues of Great Leader Kim Il Sung

A presentation on the virtues of Eternal President Kim Il Sung was held by workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) at the Central Hall of Workers on Wednesday on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the demise of the President.

Present there were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak In Chol, chairman of the GFTUK Central Committee, trade union officials, workers and trade union members in Pyongyang City. 

The speakers said that with a far-reaching plan for building a thriving country, the President undertook the unprecedented nation-building and arduous post-war reconstruction together with the people, leading them to victory.

They praised the noble personality and virtue of the peerlessly great man who paid deep attention so that workers could work in clean and cultured workplaces, and took care of them with paternal affection.

They expressed their will to thoroughly implement the last instructions of the President without an inch of deflection under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and to attain without fail the goals for this year, the first year of the five-year plan, in the spirit displayed by the working class in the post-war rehabilitation period and the Chollima age.
