The United Confederation of Koreans in Russia held a meeting in Moscow on Sept. 6 to celebrate the 73rd founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Present there were officials and members of the confederation and members of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK (RAFCC DPRK) and the DPRK International Group (DPRK ISG).

Ro Yong Jin, Chairman of the Moscow City United Confederation of Koreans, made a report which was followed by speeches.

The reporter said that as President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK, the Korean people became the proud masters who carve out their destinies independently for the first time in history.

Our country emerged as a powerful socialist country thanks to the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, he noted.

Speakers extended the highest glory to great Comrade Kim Il Sung who founded the DPRK.

They stressed that the Korean people have wrought world-startling miracles one after another in all fields including politics, economy, culture and national defense under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
