Lecturers of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt. Paektu climbed the ancestral Mt. Paektu on the 7th.

They held a meeting on the top of the mountain.

Present there were Song Sok Bong, Vice-Chairman of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials concerned.

The speakers said the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un toured the revolutionary battle sties in the Paektu linking the lineage of revolution and inciting infinite patriotism with deep intention and presented a great programme for education in revolutionary traditions.

They stressed the need to thoroughly apply the idea of making a breakthrough head-on advanced at the historic Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the WPK and the indomitable revolutionary spirit of the Paektu to their lectures and thus defend and glorify forever the revolutionary traditions of the Paektu, the eternal foundation of the Korean revolution.

They expressed their resolve to remain loyal to the trust of the Party Central Committee which put them forward at the outpost of the Party's ideological front for defending the sacred place of the Paektu, a large open-air museum for education in revolutionary traditions.

The meeting made public an appeal to the working people across the country.

The appeal called on the working people to firmly arm themselves with the revolutionary traditions of the Paektu and launch a dynamic offensive for making a breakthrough head-on in the spirit of Mt. Paektu and thus open the route of advance for victory, true to the lofty intention of the Party which initiated the intensive education in revolutionary traditions through the study tour of the revolutionary battles sites in the area of Mt. Paektu.
