17:37 Soviet Peace Fund Rising From Ashes |
Moscow, January 6 (DPRK ISG Information Bureau - RSTV)
On December 26, Sergei Nikolaevich Baburin, President of the International Association of Peace Funds (IAPF) and Member of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), paid a New Year's visit to the Embassy of the PRC in the Russian Federation at the invitation of Lu Xiaojun, Minister-Counselor of the People's Republic of China. This visit took place shortly after the decision was made to revive the Soviet Peace Fund. The meeting began with a discussion of the situation in the Fund. The Chinese diplomat expressed a principled and firm position: China does not plan to work with raiders and supports the legitimate leadership of the Soviet Peace Fund. Representatives of the IAPF noted that during the court hearings, a remarkable, but not unexpected fact was revealed: in order to establish full control over the organization, the raiders actually re-established the Soviet Peace Fund. Thus, the peace funds of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan ceased to be founders - they were replaced by 18 puppet organizations unknown until now. Sergey Nikolaevich expressed regret that the Russian justice system actually covers up the actions of the scammers. Nevertheless, since the raiders were unable to undermine the unified structure of the Fund, the founders were able to revive the organization as the "International Association of Peace Funds". Comrade Lu Xiaojun discussed with Sergey Nikolaevich the issues of reviving the International Association of Peace Funds and, in particular, the issue of creating its branch in the territory of the PRC by activists of the Chinese Executive Committee of our Solidarity Group. During the discussion, a work plan for 2025 was outlined. The participants of the meeting exchanged New Year's gifts.
