On October 10, an important event was held at the Sergiev Posad Social and Economic College, dedicated to two significant dates at once - the Foundation Day of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), which is celebrated on October 10, and the Day of Military Glory, celebrated on October 9. The event was organized by activists of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club and members of the "First" Movement.

The goal of the event was to strengthen cultural and historical ties between Russia and the DPRK, as well as to foster patriotism and respect for historical events. The program included presentations: Vadim Averin introduced the audience to the history of the WPK, Konstantin Baranov and Yaroslav Medvedev spoke about the defeat of the fascists in the Caucasus, and Arman Ksyupov spoke about the militant wing of the Workers' Party and attention to veterans.

Georgy Dmitriev, Head of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club, opened the interactive session of the event, showing students cards on the topic of "Why We Are Friends with Korea" and "Fakes about the DPRK".

Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, addressed those present with a response. He also expressed special gratitude to the head of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club Georgy Dmitriev for his contribution to spreading the correct understanding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea among Russian youth, presenting him with a letter of thanks.

The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, which allowed the participants not only to gain new knowledge, but also to enjoy communicating with each other. Such events play an important role in forming a sense of patriotism and respect for the history of their country and other friendly states among young people.
