On October 10, Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, familiarized himself with the achievements of the model primary cell in Sergiev Posad.

Comrade Mostov presented a letter of thanks to Georgy Dmitriev, Deputy Director for Educational and Production Work of the Sergiev Posad Social and Economic College.

The full text of the letter follows below.

"Dear Comrade Dmitriev!

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), in recognition of your services in promoting a correct understanding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea among Russian youth, I establish the title of "Model Primary Cell of the DPRK ISG" and assign it to the Russian-Korean Friendship Club in the Sergiev Posad Social and Economic College.

The noble appearance of the Club activists, who not only study the theoretical works of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, but also engage in practical activities, saving the lives of Russian anti-fascist soldiers, greatly inspires the activists of our organization from various countries. This is a natural consequence of your successful work aimed at supporting and developing the initiatives of the students of the Technical School.

All executive committees of our Solidarity Group should follow the example of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club in the Sergiev Posad Social and Economic College, by practical efforts to promote friendly relations with the DPRK at the level of people's diplomacy, and thereby further raise our banner of international solidarity!"

The head of our organization praised the high turnout at the events, exceeding the number of entire executive committees in some countries. However, he also pointed out the shortcomings that occasionally occur in internal work at various levels:

— When working with the masses, we must certainly speak in a language that is understandable, avoiding overly complex and repetitive constructions. However, I have noticed that in the internal work of many executive and regional committees, politically outdated expressions such as “North Korea” and “South Korea” are still encountered, implying the artificial nature of the division of the North and South of the Korean Peninsula.

It would be better to amend the information cards and explain to the activists that now, due to the final demarcation of the North and South, it is politically correct to use only the names “DPRK” and “Republic of Korea” in relation to the two Korean states, — he emphasized.

Then Comrade Mostov visited the technical school library, where activists of the Russian-Korean Friendship Club weave camouflage nets and make helmets. He examined the finished products and noted their high quality.

There is no doubt that the activists from Sergiev Posad, enjoying the deep attention, trust and care of the Coordination Committee, will contribute to the cause of international solidarity not only on the scale of the Moscow region, but throughout Russia.
