On January 17, the memorial and cultural-educational project "Bridges of Civilizations" was presented in the white hall of the Union of Journalists of Moscow on Nikitsky Boulevard.

This working meeting, chaired by Sergei Nikolaevich Baburin, President of the International Association of Peace Foundations (IAPF) and Advisor to the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), is part of the comprehensive measures to revive programs to support public diplomacy, suspended due to the raider seizure of the Soviet Peace Fund.

The event was attended by leaders of Russian and international peacekeeping organizations from different countries, including activists of our Solidarity Group from the USA, Canada and Tajikistan, figures of the American Communist Party (ACP), the Communist Youth Union of the Republic of Tajikistan (CYU RT) and others.

The IAFM executives presented a presentation of the project, after which an interested discussion began.

Comrade Baburin said:

— It is very important that this Center becomes a place where not only the memory of peacekeeping and humanitarian cooperation is preserved, but where cultural and historical traditions live, form a new generation, create new knowledge and, no matter how difficult it is today, strengthen mutual understanding or even revive it between peoples!

During the discussion, it was also once again emphasized that the IAFM fully supports the constructive initiatives of the DPRK ISG and plans to create a branch in China on the basis of the Chinese Executive Committee of our organization.
