On October 8, Comrade Ri Yong Jing, Minister of the DPRK Embassy in the Russian Federation, invited the leadership of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG) to a friendly meeting at the Koryo Restaurant.

The meeting was attended by Comrades Kim Sung U (Counselor of the DPRK Embassy), Ju Kyong Su (First Secretary of the DPRK Embassy), Alexander Mostov (Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG), Viktor Petrov (Deputy Chairman of the Coordination Committee and Director of the 1st Department of the DPRK ISG, Chairman of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK), Sergei Baburin (Chairman of the Board of the Soviet Peace Foundation and Member of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG), Pyotr Shishkov (Candidate for Membership in the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG), Margarita Kurylyova (Executive Secretary of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK) and others.

The main issue that interested the Korean interlocutors was the situation around the Soviet Peace Fund and its raider seizure by unfriendly forces. The Korean diplomats did not hide the fact that they perceived what was happening as a calculated blow to Russian-Korean relations, and expressed support for the legitimate leadership of the Soviet Peace Fund.

At the meeting, they discussed the plan for the visit of delegations next year, paying special attention to the issue of filming a documentary by Comrade Stanislav Vasiliev, who made a special contribution to the exposure of anti-republican and anti-communist propaganda with his actions.

Then Comrade Mostov handed over to the representatives of the Embassy the following current list of heads of regional cells of the organization:

• Alexandra Mikhailova — Far Eastern Federal University
• Ivan Kozlov — State University of Management
• Maksim Zyuzin — Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration
• Alexey Konstantinov — Russian State Humanitarian University

Also, the head of our organization informed those present about the exclusion of Ivan Komendantov from the DPRK ISG without the right to reinstatement in connection with the commission of deliberate actions aimed at undermining the authority of the international solidarity movement at a critical moment.

The participants of the friendly meeting raised a toast to the health of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, and comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, for the success of the special military operation in Ukraine, and for the final victory of the cause of our just struggle.
