On May 9, Comrade Choi Gye Hong, on behalf of the Korean-Russian Friendship Society, sent a congratulatory telegram to the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG.

The full text of the telegram follows.

Dear comrades and friends!

Please accept our warmest congratulations on the 77th anniversary of Victory Day!

The victory of the USSR in the Soviet-German war is a historical event that made a great contribution to the final victory in World War II.

Recently, some countries have been distorting the decisive role of the USSR in World War II and slandering, but the historical fact will not change. The whole world will remember the decisive role of the USSR.

Taking this opportunity, we wholeheartedly wish you great success in the struggle to build a strong Russia, continuing the history of victory in the war, and in the anti-epidemic struggle.

The Korean-Russian Friendship Society will make every effort to develop relations of friendship and cooperation with the Russian Federation, our friend and friendly neighbor, in accordance with the agreements of the summit and negotiations between DPRK SA President Kim Jong Un and Russian President Putin, held in 2019.

Sincerely,
Korean-Russian Friendship Society
