On June 19, on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the beginning of the work of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), an extended meeting of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG) was held.

The Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, the Head of our Organization Comrade Alexander Mostov led the meeting.

It was attended by members and candidate members of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, including Comrades Li Jizheng, Ilya Kleimenov, Nikita Dobrov, Klim Belsky, Tim Trendelkamp and Johannes Wittmund. The meeting was also attended by activists of the Executive Committees in China and Germany, who made a special contribution to the collection of materials on the coronavirus pandemic for the fighters of the anti-epidemic front.

The head of our organization read out a congratulatory telegram addressed to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, President of State Affairs of the DPRK, Supreme Commander of the DPRK Armed Forces.

On behalf of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG and myself, I cordially congratulate you on the anniversary of the beginning of the work of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il in the Central Committee of the WPK.

The beginning of the work of great Comrade Kim Jong Il in the Central Committee was an important turning point, which brought party building to a new level. His principled stance of "worship the people as heaven", inherited from President Kim Il Sung, further rallied the masses around the party, and also paved the way to wealth and prosperity through the "Arduous March" in the dashing 90s of the last century.

We are watching with undisguised admiration how you are comprehensively multiplying the glorious achievements of your predecessor leaders, and we are making top-priority efforts to quickly convey news of your revolutionary activities to the progressive people of the world. We firmly believe that under your wise leadership, People's Korea will soon overcome the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and become even more famous throughout the world as a mighty bulwark of true socialism!

The Group's then discussed the latest progress in the implementation of the annual plan and made the following decisions.

• The dates of the 4th Organizing Conference of the DPRK ISG have been announced.
• Comrade Mostov was elected Chairman of the Central Preparatory Committee for the 4th Organizing Conference, and Comrade Li Jizheng was appointed Head of the Preparatory Committee on the occasion of important dates.
• The meeting participants were informed that Comrade Alexander Mostov, Head of our Organization, had been invited to Ukraine as a war correspondent. The Committee adopted a number of decisions on this matter.
• Johannes Wittmund, Head of the German Executive Committee, was elected a member of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG.
• Changes in the design of the Charter were approved. Member of the youth parliament of St. Petersburg Nikita Dobrov expressed his readiness to print the Charter.
• The issue of a possible increase in the status of the Propaganda Department of the Chinese Executive Committee to the level of the Department under the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG  was discussed.
• Deputy Chairman of the Committee for International Relations of the Communist Party "Communists of Russia" Ilya Kleimenov invited the DPRK ISG delegation to the upcoming party congress.
