17:00 DPR Korea's Cultural Influence Increases |
October 2, Moscow (RSTV)
More and more progressive people of the world find inspiration in the revolutionary spirit of Korea. On September 22, the famous video blogger and TV presenter Stanislav Vasiliev, who received a “party uniform” from the DPRK ISG about six months ago, publicly announced his readiness to release an original line of clothing inspired by Korean fashion. The jacket itself will go on sale starting at $160, along with “solidarity badges” and other symbols somehow related to the author.
Such an initiative also carries with it a share of historical heritage, because the “party uniform”, in a sense, went around the whole earth and finally returned to Russia: clothes of this type gained particular popularity after the Great October Socialist Revolution and remained among the people until the beginning of the reign of Khrushchev. The “party uniform” is associated not only with the leaders of the DPRK. Due to his practicality and popular spirit, he is closely associated with other prominent leaders such as Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong and Ho Chi Minh, as well as with the names of many revolutionaries who gave their lives for the ideals of socialism. The DPRK, having carefully preserved revolutionary traditions, gave them new life as a counterweight to “US culture”.
