On June 16, a ceremonial meeting of the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG) was held on the occasion of the June holidays. Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of our organization, was personally present at the event.

This meeting is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the beginning of the work of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (June 19, 1964) and the 10th anniversary of the election of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the post of President of the State Affairs of the DPRK (June 29, 2016).

Luan Xinglong, Head of the Chinese Executive Committee, presided over the event. Activists of the Chinese Executive Committee, including comrades Shao Yan, Li Jizheng, Vera and Tim Trendelkamp, ​​took part in it in person and in absentia.

The song "朝中友谊万古长青" (Korea-China Friendship Will Be Eternal) was played.

Comrade Luan showed the activists numerous ideological books sent free of charge to our organization from the DPRK for training sessions, and said that in the near future the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG will organize sending parcels to regional committees. Then, one after another, the meeting participants presented reports praising the ideological and theoretical contributions of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un to the development of Korean-style socialism.

Chairman Mostov said:

The Korean and Chinese peoples are fraternal peoples, whose friendship is sealed by the blood of Korean partisans and Chinese people's volunteers. It is not surprising that today, when the Chinese people are fighting to uphold their sovereignty under the leadership of the respected President Xi Jinping and the great Communist Party of China, the DPRK has consistently come out in support of the PRC.

Activists in our Group will certainly study the policies of the Communist Party of China in order to make a feasible contribution to the development of relations with the DPRK at the level of public diplomacy and trade relations.
