Foreign Figures Visit DPRK Missions

The secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is also the head of the Russia-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Duma of Russia, the chairperson of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, the head of the Orchestra of the 21st Century of Russia and their parties paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK embassy in Moscow on April 8 on the occasions of the 109th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung and the 2nd anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's historic visit to the Russian Federation.

Other foreign figures of various circles also paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries on April 8 and 9 on the occasion of the Day of the Sun (birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung).

They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the art works depicting them standing together and bowed to them.

Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, and Shin Andrej, Executive Secretary of the "Bomminryong", Chairman of the Council of Korean War Veterans, member of the Committee of Chiefs of the DPRK ISG took part in the round table “Strategy for Strengthening Russian-Korean Relations”.

Comrade Shin addressed the participants of the round table with a heartfelt speech in which he expressed hope for further strengthening the traditional Korean-Russian relations of friendship and cooperation.

At the end of the round table, a statement was unanimously adopted.

Flower Laying Ceremony Held

On April 11, on the eve of the significant Day of the Sun, the Bomminryong and the DPRK ISG jointly held a flower-laying ceremony. Due to the fact that the diplomatic missions of the DPRK are currently observing a special quarantine regime due to emergency anti-epidemic measures, the ceremony at the office of Bomminryong.

Chairman of Kothonryong of Russia, President of the International Union "Bomminryong" Kim Chil Song and board member installed a vase with flowers as a sign of the deepest respect.

Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, accompanied by Nikita Dobrov, head of the Russian Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG, member of the Bureau of the St. Petersburg City Committee of the Komsomol, laid a bouquet of bright red chrysanthemums tied with a ribbon, and bowed.

The executive secretary of the Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK Margarita Kuryleva also laid several flowers to the picture.

Konstantin Krylov, General Secretary of the Eurasian Branch of the Unification Church, Vice-President of the Unification Church in Europe and the Middle East for Eurasia laid a magnificent bouquet in memory of the meeting of the Great Leader Kim Il Sung and Moon Sun Myung.

The head of the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG Li Jizheng, member of the Chinese executive committee Qi Peifei and activist Wang Zhaoyu laid a basket of flowers on behalf of their Executive Committee. Comrades Li Jizheng, Qi Peifei and Wang Zhaoyu bowed three times according to Chinese tradition.

Then the ethnic Koreans laid flowers, offering prayers for the immortality of the great Paektusan Leaders.

Adjusting the bouquets of flowers, Comrade Mostov recalled the unfading services of the Great Leader Kim Il Sung, in building communism. He stressed that respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is truly the heir to the cause of the Paektusan revolution.

Koreans in Russia Commemorate Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung

The United Confederation of Koreans in Russia held a celebration at its building on April 11 on the occasions of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung and the 2nd anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's visit to the Russian Federation.

Kim Chil Song, Chairman Kothonryong of Russia, President of the International Union "Bomminryong", and Alexander Mostov Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, directed the meeting.

The meeting was attended by members of the Korean Association "Kothonryong" of the Russian Federation and foreign compatriots, members of the Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, as well as senior officials of the DPRK ISG Executive Committees in the PRC and the Russia. In particular, from our side, it was attended by Comrades Li Jizheng (head of the Chinese Executive Committee), Nikita Dobrov (head of the Russian Executive Committee), Shin Andrey (executive secretary of "Bomminryon"), Fedor Sagaida (adviser on internal affairs of the Russian Executive Committee), Qi Peifei (member of the Chinese Executive Committee) and Wang Zhaoyu (Chinese activist).

The participants laid a floral basket and bunches of flowers before the art works portraying President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il at the office room of the confederation and made a bow before them.

Kim Chil Song, Chairman of the United Confederation of Koreans in Russia, gave a congratulatory address to be followed by speeches.

The speakers said that the idea and feats of the President who devoted his whole life to the happiness of the people and made great contributions to the cause of global independence would shine forever.

The DPRK has been put on the status of world-class power, thanks to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward the idea and cause of the preceding leaders, they noted.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's first meeting with President Putin served as a great driving force for developing the DPRK-Russia relations in the new century, they added.

Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, made a political speech in which he spoke about the contribution of the Great Leader Kim Il Sung to the liberation and reunification of Korea, and also highlighted the history of the development of Korean-Soviet and Korean-Russian relations, sealed with blood in battles with the Japanese and American aggression.

In light of the fact that the representative of the so-called. The "Ministry of Unification" of the southern side made stupid statements about the need to expand "freedom of information" in North Korea, Comrade Mostov, without restraining his anger, criticized this.

Complementing the words of Chairman Mostov, Comrade Li Jizheng emphasized the following.

- I would like to add one very important fact: the great leader of the Korean people, Comrade Kim Il Sung, was also an outstanding internationalist fighter.

Comrade Kim Il Sung has lived in Manchuria for over 20 years and made friends with local Chinese communists. Together they fought a guerrilla war against the Japanese imperialists. At that time, Comrade Kim Il Sung fought not only for the liberation of the Korean people, but also for the liberation of the Chinese people.

By the way, during the Civil War in China, the DPRK provided material assistance and moral support. We Chinese people will never forget this!

A Meeting of the Chinese Executive Committee Was Held on the Occasion of the Day of the Sun

On April 14, Juche 110 (2021), on the the most important holiday of the Korean people, the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG held an online meeting.

The meeting was attended by most of the members of the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG. Li Jizheng, head of the Chinese Executive Committee, presided over the meeting.

The immortal revolutionary hymns “The Song of the General Kim Il Sung” and “The Song of the General Kim Jong Il” were performed. The meeting of the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG was declared open.

As Deputy Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG and the Group's representative in PRC, Chief of the Chinese Executive Committee Li Jizheng greeted all the members of the Chinese Executive Committee, congratulated them on the holiday and provided details of the flower-laying ceremony, which he recently attended in Moscow.

Then, Comrade Li Jizheng showed a video of the flower-laying ceremony and translated the speeches made by the Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG Alexander Mostov at the event. The meeting participants unanimously agreed that the flower-laying ceremony was of great importance, since it was the first official participation of the Chinese Executive Committee in people's diplomaty activities, and this event contributed to the further development of friendly relations of cooperation between the DPRK ISG and the International Union "Bomminryon" and other friendly organizations.

Comrade Li Jizheng briefly presented Comrade Kim Il Sung's immortal contribution to the unification of the Korean Peninsula: it was Comrade Kim Il Sung who proposed the Three Principles for the Reunification of the Motherland, the Proposal for the Establishment of the Democratic Confederative Republic of Koryo and the Ten-Point Program for the Great Consolidation of the Whole Nation for the Reunification of the Motherland.

He noted that although Comrade Kim Il Sung made big concessions in order to carry out the reunification of the Motherland in the near future, the South practically did not react to these measures. Based on the dynamics of inter-Korean relations in recent years, we can see that the DPRK has worked hard to fulfill the agreement reached between the North and the South. However, the South side pulls it off for various reasons and lacks any sincerity. The main conclusion can be drawn: the main responsibility for the current tense inter-Korean relations lies with the South. All the participants agreed with Comrade Li Jizheng's opinion.
