At the occasion of the Korean National Liberation Day on Aug. 15, 2022, the German Executive Committee held an extraordinary conference, thus contributing its share to the DPRK ISG Organizing Conference. The event began punctually at 8:30 pm German time. Present were the activists Albert and Tommy, as well as the Ideological Leader Tim Trendelkamp and the Head of the German Executive Committee Johannes Wittmund. At the beginning of the event, the national anthem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Deutschlandlied were played. Then Johannes Wittmund, Head of the German Executive Committee, took the floor and welcomed the participating activists. After a few introductory words on the motto of this year's organizational conference ["The revolutionary road of Paektusan: History of the anti-imperialist struggle of the Korean people"], he read out a self-authored text entitled "Kim Il Sung - The Tiger of Mount Paektu", which referred to the symbolism of the tiger in traditional Korean folklore and made a reference to the heroic anti-Japanese partisan struggle of the Eternal President Kim Il Sung. The second lecture was given by the ideological leader Tim Trendelkamp, who dealt with the nature of partisanship according to Carl Schmitt. After a definition of the term and a historical outline of world-historically relevant partisan activities, he concluded with logical consistency that the previous partisanship attained its highest form in the Korean struggle for freedom under the Eternal President Kim Il Sung and referred here, inter alia, to the pronounced telluric character. After a subsequent round of discussion and questions, the Сonference was closed. |
