On February 18, Juche 110 (2021), the organizational conference of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG), has concluded its work. This conference has been launched two weeks ago on February 5th, on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star and the 10th anniversary of our organization. It was held in an online text chat discussion mode.

 Address by Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG 

First of all, Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, put forward a proposal to confer an honorary title to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on occasion of the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) held in January. As stated, that Congress once again attracted the attention of all progressive humanity to the DPRK and showed the international significance of socialist Korea.

The proposal was approved unanimously.

Comrade Mostov also presented a report exposing the fraudsters who thrifted the webpage of our organization on April 1, 106, Juche (2017) and have been holding it until today. He noted that the complete elimination of the most dangerous threat - factionalism and divisive sentiments - was one of the most important achievements of the Group, which made it possible to get reorganized into a DPRK International Solidarity Group.

"Hostile elements have taken a new tactic: to give out news in the DPRK media about the activities of our Group, depicting it as their activities, enviously slander, to spread rumours and try in every possible way to undermine the credibility of the International Solidarity Group in order to make up at least some reports on the practical work and justify the retention of our news resource. In their recklessness, they even went so far as to try to pass off a tourist trip of their “representative” an official visit of a "delegate" at the invitation from the Pyongyang," the head of the Group stressed.

The members of the DPRK ISG Coordination Committee unanimously approved the contents of the report, and then adopted the annual plan set out below.

According to the final decision, the Group's goals in the coming year will be mainly to struggle against the widespread of anti-Korean fake news, as well as to expand the information coverage of the Group's activities. In addition, it is planned to launch the movement "for a truthful understanding of North Korea" as soon as possible, and to gradually organise new executive committees on the model of the Chinese executive committee established by comrade Li Jizheng.

Then the participants of the conference were presented with the draft charter of the DPRK ISG, designed to mark a new milestone in the history of the development of our organization. The new charter establishes several points that are fundamentally important for the functioning of the DPRK ISG:

• Highest priority of Kimilsungism-kimjongilism as the ideological core of DPRK ISG, recognition of the (People’s Democratic) Republic as the sole legitimate representative of the will of the Korean people on the Korean Peninsula.
• Deep respect for the figures of the Eternal President Kim Il Sung and the Eternal Chairman Kim Jong Il and the President of the State Affairs of the DPRK Kim Jong Un.
• Procedures for the appointment and promotion of responsible employees of the Group, from activists within voting privilege to senior managers.
• The DPRK ISG's visceral opposition to any factional struggle in the international anti-imperialist and anti-colonial movement.

The draft charter was adopted unanimously.

  Report by Li Jizheng, Deputy Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG  

Li Jizheng Vice Chairman of the Coordination committee of DPRK ISG, presented the report "On the current situation and prospects of the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG".

As the head of the executive committee, Comrade Li reported on the latest successes and prospects of the Group's work.

At the moment, the Chinese Executive Committee has three departments: the propaganda department, the Personnel Department, and the Foreign Relations Department.

The head of the Propaganda department is Comrade Li Yuege, the head of the Personnel Department is Comrade Wanlima Shidai, and the head of the External Relations Department is Comrade Luan Xinlong.

The Chinese Executive Committee is currently working in five areas:

1. Publication of news articles about the MGS of the DPRK and the DPRK;
2. Uploading of several Korean Central Television programs and homemade videos about the DPRK to the video hosting;
3. Publish statements of solidarity with the DPRK;
4. Publishing unclassified historical data and historical photos;
5. Organizing the lectures and seminars on the DPRK.

The Chinese Executive Committee's WeChat account was created on February 28, 2020. Last year, the account published 86 different kinds of articles of a very vast variety of topics, including news articles about the DPRK ISG and the DPRK, statements of solidarity with the DPRK, unclassified historical materials, historical photos, and so on.

Now the DPRK ISG has gained a particular reputation in the circles of friends of the DPRK in China thanks to the active propaganda of the Chinese Executive Committee. We firmly believe that under the credible leadership of the Chairman Mostov, our organization will develop better and better and will definitely make a greater contribution to the international solidarity movement!

     Report by Georgy Abzianidze, Press Secretary of the DPRK ISG     

In continuation of the discourse the ISG’s press-secretary George Abzianidze put forward the idea of the alternative online news platform usage in a context of the repressive policy of Google inc. and outlined the general need to get the content published monetized.

Comrade Mostov concluded that most of the critical errors noted in the report do occur, but in fact were the result of Georgy Abzianidze’s mismanagement on position of press secretary. It was decided in that scope to release Abzianidze from the Coordination Committee DPRK ISG and from his position.

However, the proposal to switch to alternative Internet platforms was considered appropriate and reflected the objectives of the annual plan. Soon, it is planned to launch work on the creation and promotion of the DPRK ISG channel at a new website that meets the current needs of the Group and, in general, is convenient for get developed in.

 Report by Nikita Dobrov, Responsible for The Cooperation Between the ISG and the CPRF 

Nikita Dobrov, a member of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, expressed his support to the adopted annual plan and proposed the formation of the Russian executive committee on the basis of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

He suggested the following areas of joint work:

1. Organization of joint round tables, seminars, conferences, in order to promote the DPRK and socialist ideas, as well as to raise the ideological and theoretical familiarity of activists of our organizations.
2. Organization of joint actions related to Korea and socialist ideas.
3. The establishment of an executive committee of DPRK ISG based on the Communist party and the Komsomol of the Russian Federation as the way to strengthen the friendly relations between our organizations and enhance the agitation in support of socialist Korea.
4. The participation of DPRK ISG representatives in round tables, conferences, seminars organised by Communist party and Komsomol of the Russian Federation within various reports about North Korea.

The offer was accepted within all its points. The Chairman of the Coordination Committee of DPRK ISG permitted Comrade Dobrov to form an executive committee and handed over to him the position of ISG's resident representative.

The results of the organizational conference were approved by the general vote. Thus, the second organizing conference of the DPRK ISG drew a line under the negative problematics of the past years and marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of our organization.
