On the occasion of the April Holiday in 113 Juche (2024), activists of our organization visited the DPRK, and also significantly held various solidarity events in Tajikistan, Europe, Russia, China and Belarus.

— Gift for Comrade Kim Jong Un from Tajikistan —

Officials of the Tajik Group of Solidarity with the DPRK from the Communist Party and Komsomol of the Republic of Tajikistan presented Alexander Mostov, Leader of the DPRK ISG, with the majestic golden royal robe “Zardozi” on behalf of the entire people of the Republic of Tajikistan, symbolizing the wealth and prosperity of the Kim Jong Un era.

A ceremony will soon take place to present a gift to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of April Holiday.

— Founding of Hungarian Regional Committee —

The founding meeting of the Hungarian Regional Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group was held. Peter Gal, Regional Secretary of the DPRK ISG in Hungary, personally presided over the meeting.

This meeting was timed to coincide with the birthday of the Great Leader Kim Il Sung, which is celebrated by all progressive people of the world as the Day of the Sun.

The meeting was attended by public and political figures from the Hungarian Workers' Party.

Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, spoke to the activists. He warmly welcomed the fair position of the Hungarian Workers' Party, which provided all possible assistance to the Solidarity Group in the formation of the regional committee, and informed the meeting about the decision taken on March 14 to appoint Peter Gal as Regional Secretary.

The speech noted that President Kim Il Sung, paying great attention to the development of Korean-Hungarian relations, maintained high-level contacts between the governments of the two countries. The Korean people well remember the feat of the Hungarian medical team, which selflessly saved many lives during the Korean War (1950 - 1953), as well as the invaluable assistance that Hungary provided to the Republic during the years of post-war reconstruction.

— Ceremonial Meeting at Soviet Peace Foundation —

On April 10, in the marble hall of the Soviet Peace Foundation, a central ceremonial meeting was held, held on the initiative of the Russian Society of Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK as part of our organization.

Ri Yong Jing, Minister of the DPRK Embassy in the Russian Federation, Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, Viktor Petrov, Deputy Chairman of the Coordination Committee and Director of the 1st Department of People's Diplomacy of the DPRK ISG, took places on the presidium.

The meeting was attended by comrades Kim Song U (Adviser to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to the Russian Federation), Ju Kyong Su (First Secretary of the DPRK Embassy), Sergei Baburin (Vice President of the Soviet Peace Foundation and candidate for President of the Russian Federation); Andrey Shin (Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Korean War), as well as representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior officials of the Friendship Society, activists of the primary cells of our organization at the University of World Civilizations and the Sergiev Posad Socio-Economic College.

Participants in the event laid a basket of flowers at the portraits of the Great Leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Then there were speeches.

— Delegations and Delegates of Juche Idea Study Organizations Arrive in Pyongyang —

Representatives of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK and the Society for the Study of Juche Ideas in the Altai Republic, as part of the DPRK International Solidarity Group, arrived by plane in Pyongyang to take part in the international seminar on the Juche idea on the occasion of the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Comrades Alexander Vorontsov (Head of the Department of Korea and Mongolia at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK) and Daria Kadkina (Head of the  Society for the Study of Juche Ideas in the Altai Republic) arrived from our side.

— Reception Given at DPRK Embassy in Moscow —

The DPRK Embassy in Moscow hosted a reception on April 11 to celebrate the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there on invitation were Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Alexandr Kozlov and personages of the government, political parties, organizations and institutions of Russia including the Federation Council, the State Duma, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Science and High Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Public Health, the Party for Peace and Unity, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.

The DPRK ambassador to Russia and staff members of his embassy were on hand.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together, and paid tribute to them.

They looked at the photos dealing with the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the photos dealing with the exploits performed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations and those showing the tremendous might and proud development of the DPRK.

— April Holiday Celebrated in Belarus —

On April 12, Juche 113 (2024), a gala reception dedicated to the 112th anniversary of the birth of the great Comrade Kim Il Sung was held at the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the Republic of Belarus.

On the occasion of the solemn date, Klim Belsky, Head of the Belarusian Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG, and Dmitry Mataev, 2nd Secretary of the Belarusian Executive Committee, attended the festive event.

Members of the delegation of the DPRK Solidarity Group (Republic of Belarus) paid tribute to memory and respect in front of the portraits of the Great Leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and laid flowers at their portraits.

During a meeting with the Ambassador of the DPRK to the Republic of Belarus, our representative expressed words of support and congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, as well as the entire Korean people, wishing them good health, happiness, prosperity and a victorious march forward under the red revolutionary banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

— DPRK Government Hosts Reception for Participants in Int'l Seminar on Juche Idea —

The DPRK government hosted a reception at the Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on Sunday in honor of the participants in the international seminar on the Juche idea.

Present there on invitation were Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI), Matteo Carbonelli, vice-director general of the IIJI, and delegations and delegates of Juche idea study organizations from different countries and regions.

Present there were Ri Il Hwan, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Thae Hyong Chol, first vice-chairman of the Korean Association of Social Scientists and concurrently president of the Academy of Social Sciences, and officials of the Korean Association of Social Scientists.

Ri Il Hwan made a speech at the reception.

He said that the participants in the international seminar on the Juche idea proved in a theoretical and profound way that the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the most scientific revolutionary theory capable of defending and realizing the independence of the masses of the people and a militant banner powerfully encouraging the progressive mankind in their struggle to build an independent new world.

Matteo Carbonelli praised the undying exploits of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il who founded and developed the immortal Juche idea and made great contributions to the accomplishment of the cause of global independence, and spoke highly of the great personality of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is wisely leading the struggle for the comprehensive development of socialism.

No one can check the future of the progressive mankind for global independence, he said, expressing the will to further strengthen solidarity among the Juche idea study organizations on a worldwide scale and devote all wisdom and enthusiasm to the activities for studying and disseminating the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

Ri Il Hwan, Member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), met with Kenichi Ogami, Secretary General of the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI), Matteo Carbonelli, Vice-Director General of the IIJI, and heads and delegates of delegations of Juche idea study organizations in different countries and regions, who took part in the international seminar on the Juche idea, on April 14.

Present there was Thae Hyong Chol, First Vice-Chairman of the Korean Association of Social Scientists and concurrently president of the Academy of Social Sciences.

Senior officials from the Korean side specifically discussed with Alexander Vorontsov, Head of the Department of Korea and Mongolia of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, steps to resume scientific exchange with the Russian Federation, suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

— Int'l Seminar on Juche Idea Held in DPRK —

An international seminar on the Juche idea for independence, justice and future of humankind took place in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on April 14 under the co-sponsorship of the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI) and the Korean Association of Social Scientists (KASS) on the occasion of the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the IIJI, Matteo Carbonelli, vice director-general of the IIJI and delegations and delegates of Juche idea study organizations from different countries and regions.

Also attending it were Thae Hyong Chol, president of the Academy of Social Sciences and first vice-chairman of the KASS, and scientists and officials in the field of social sciences.

At the seminar, Kenichi Ogami made an opening address to be followed by a congratulatory speech by Thae Hyong Chol.

Expressing belief that the seminar would be a significant gathering of more deeply grasping the principle of independence and dynamically accelerating the advance of humankind toward the beautiful future, they called upon the Juche idea followers to make positive contributions to the building of an independent world, deeply aware of the honor and mission of being pioneers and propagators of the great idea of the times.

Matteo Carbonelli made a keynote report.

The reporter highly praised the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who built the DPRK into a socialist state independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence by thoroughly applying the Juche idea in the revolution and construction all their lives and devoted their all to the victorious advance of the cause of anti-imperialist independence.

He highly praised the great personality of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who formulated the essence of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the people-first principle and is leading the struggle of progressive humankind for realizing the international justice while ushering in a new era of comprehensive national prosperity.

He said that the DPRK is demonstrating its dignity and might as the only country of single-minded unity in the world, a socialist fortress and a powerful nation true to its name, performing world-startling miracles one after another despite the worst adversity. This gives great confidence and courage to the world revolutionary people, he added.

The enthusiasm for following the Juche idea is getting stronger worldwide, he said, affirming that the victory of the cause of global independence will be hastened only when the anti-imperialist independent forces advance with their united efforts along the road indicated by the great idea of the times.

The seminar heard speeches on such themes as "The revolutionary ideology of the great Comrade Kim Jong Un is an immortal banner safeguarding independence and justice and guaranteeing a rosy future of humankind", "Let us build a new world of independence and justice through unity and cooperation", "Independence, justice and future of humankind" and "African countries should struggle against neo-colonialism with the independent idea as their guideline".

The speakers said that independence is the only way for a nation to live and for a country to prosper and this is the truth proven by history, adding that only when independence is maintained can the genuine dignity of a nation and the happy future of rising generations be guaranteed.

They unanimously affirmed that an important way for strengthening the anti-imperialist independent forces is to further rev up the atmosphere of struggle of suppressing the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the U.S. imperialists and reactionaries in the international arena by intensifying solidarity with all countries aspiring after justice under the ideas of independence, peace and friendship.

Speakers expressed their will to study and disseminate the Juche idea more actively on a global scale.

Alexander Vorontsov, Head of the Department of Korea and Mongolia at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, made a report on the topic “Russia in the struggle for sovereignty, independence and a fair future of humanity.”

A letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.

— Official Visit to DPRK Embassy in Beijing —

On April 14, on the occasion of the April Holiday, Luan Xinlong, Head of the Chinese Executive Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group, paid an official visit to the DPRK Embassy in China.

On behalf of the Chinese Executive Committee of our organization, Comrade Luan Xinlong presented a basket of flowers to the photographic portraits of the Great Leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and bowed deeply as a sign of respect.

Then our representative inspected a photo exhibition of the revolutionary activities of the great Comrade Kim Il Sung, with explanations from Embassy staff.

Comrade Luan Xinlong had a friendly conversation with the relevant Embassy employees, during which he spoke about the situation of the DPRK ISG recently. The diplomats highly appreciated the excellent work of our organization and instructed Comrade Luan Xinlong to convey gratitude and blessings to all the leading employees of our organization. In turn, our representative also noted that the Chinese Executive Committee will definitely continue its work and will actively maintain contact with the Embassy.

The participants in the international seminar on the Juche idea laid floral baskets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill on April 15, the 112th birth anniversary of the President.

They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of the great leaders who founded the immortal Juche idea and developed it in depth to clearly indicate the road of the struggle of the working masses for defending and realizing independence, and bowed to them
