On January 15, at the 10th session of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, important decisions were made that put an end to unfair inter-Korean relations.

The decisions include the abolition of all organizations that existed as apparatuses of solidarity for peaceful unification, the precise definition of the territorial limits under the state power of the DPRK, the development of a plan to take over the “Republic of Korea” in the event of war, the complete irreparable interruption of the Seoul-Sinuiju railway, and also the destruction of the “Monument of the Three Charters of the Unification of the Motherland.” It is also confirmed that the abolition of the media 《우리 민족끼리》 (Uriminzokkiri) is part of practical measures to eliminate the remnants of past times, which can be considered a symbol of a “homogeneous nation” and “peaceful unification”.
