Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the DPRK ISG, answered a question from a correspondent of the Svobodnaya Pressa about the possibility of creating a "military alliance" between Russia, Iran and Korea.

At the moment, I consider it superfluous to talk about the prospects for a military alliance between Russia, Iran and the DPRK, since there are simply no real prerequisites for it.
Yes, with the start of the “Special Military Operation in Ukraine”, the Russian Federation really faced serious sanctions pressure, finding itself, in fact, in the position in which the DPRK has been since the nineties of the last century. There is nothing surprising in the fact that Russia is forced to look for various ways out of the current situation. But I have to remind you that according to UN Security Council Resolution 2375 of September 11, 2017, Korean citizens do not even have the right to work on Russian territory, let alone take part in hostilities.
In a sense, the establishment of cooperation between Russia and the DPRK is the most logical step towards which, one might say, the two countries are pushing the aggressive actions of the United States and its satellites. For example, the Western media is constantly talking nonsense about non-existent "weapons supplies" to the Russian army and PMCs, stigmatizing us without any evidence.
From my point of view, cooperation with the DPRK can be useful in almost all areas, including the military one. However, before talking about this, Russia needs to at least get out of unfair unilateral sanctions against this country.
For its part, the DPRK has already taken a number of important steps, including the recognition of referendums in the DPR, LPR, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Further prospects depend on the response steps from Russia.
