There took place a memorial meeting of the government, political parties and organizations of Russia in Moscow on Dec. 15 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the demise of Eternal Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Alexander Mostov, Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the DPRK ISG, attended a memorial meeting.

He was accompanied by Vitaly Lebedev, Advisor to the Russian Executive Committee of the DPRK ISG, and Tim Trendelkamp.

Attending the meeting were personages of the Russian government, political parties and organizations, including the State Duma of Russia, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Party of Peace and Unity, the Liberal Democratic Party, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean War Veterans' Council, the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation, the Academy Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the "Orchestra of the 21st Century", the State Academy Beryozka Dancing Troupe Named after N.S. Nadezhdina, and the DPRK ambassador to Russia and embassy members.

The participants paid silent tribute to Comrade Kim Jong Il.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

Meanwhile, a memorial service was given at the DPRK mission in Khabarovsk on December 16.

The participants laid a floral basket and bunches of flowers at an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together, and paid tribute to them.
